Growing up, Dr. Katherine Penny's best friend's Dad was a pediatrician. He encouraged her to volunteer at the hospitals when she was in high school, where she had the opportunity to watch doctors and nurses care for babies. "I knew I wanted to do the same thing, " said Dr. Penny. "Children have such joy and energy that it makes it fun to come to work every day, " she said. "I think it is an honor and a privilege to be here at Boys Town Pediatrics and to be trusted with the care of the patients.
