  Dr. Jay Samuelson is not only a popular family and general dentist but also Best of Omaha award-winning cosmetic dentist. Dr. Samuelson attended the elite Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) where he has combined his artistic ability, technical skills, caring demeanor and compassionate care to become one of Omaha’s preferred cosmetic dentists. Dr. Samuelson is a Nebraska native who grew up in Kearney, Nebraska, and graduated from Kearney State. He went on to graduate from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1994. After working in an associate position, Dr. Samuelson saw the need for dental care in the newly expanding Northwest Omaha area and opened Hillsborough Family Dentistry in 1996. What started as a small, two-employee, neighborhood dental office has grown to the current multi-doctor, four-location practice. While the practice has grown, it has still maintained the feel as the “neighborhood dentist” where the entire team still enjoys getting to know their patients. This is large in part due to Dr. Samuelson’s vision and excellent leadership. When he’s away from the office, Dr. Samuelson and his wife Gina keep busy with their 5 children. While he also enjoys playing tennis and traveling, Dr. Samuelson particularly looks forward to his yearly ski trip.

  Dr. Brian Pendley

  General & Cosmetic Dentist

  A Millard North graduate, Dr. Brian Pendley graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska School of Dentistry in 1999. Dr. Pendley joined Hillsborough Dentistry in 2001 after working as an associate in West Point, Nebraska. Dr. Pendley was a perfect fit at Hillsborough for both the staff and the patients. His knowledge of full-service dentistry, expanded experience with root canals and his desire to give each and every patient personalized attention have rapidly given him the reputation as one of Omaha’s preferred dentists. Listening to the needs of their patients, the doctors saw the need to expand the office to include a satellite location. Dr. Pendley was instrumental in the construction and design of Village Pointe Dentistry, which is now The Dentists at Village Pointe. This additional location, in the popular Village Pointe area, offers both new and existing patients another location that may be closer to work or home. While visiting Dr. Pendley and the rest of the team at The Dentists at Village Pointe, you will be treated with the same exceptional care that you have either heard about or come to know and trust. In his time away from the office, Dr. Pendley loves spending time with his wife, Holly, and their two children. He is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing and hunting.

  Dr. J.R. Demman

  General & Cosmetic Dentist

  Dr. J.R. Demman is the primary doctor at The Dentists at Dundee. He is also at the Hillsborough office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Dr. Demman was born and raised in Bellevue, Nebraska, and graduated from Mount Michael Benedictine in Elkhorn. He attended Creighton University for both undergraduate and dental school and graduated in 2005. He is a caring and experienced dentist that provides a wide variety of services for his patients. His experience ranges from fillings and crowns to root canals to extractions and dental implants. Dr. Demman takes a great deal of pride in staying up to date with the latest and greatest technologies and techniques. In 2010, he completed a year-long course in advanced implant placement with the prestigious Misch Implant Institute. He believes that this advanced training will provide the most comprehensive and comfortable care for his patients. Dr. Demman’s exceptional education, clinical experience and personal dedication to improving his Dr. Demman’s exceptional education, clinical experience and personal dedication to improving his patient’s dental health makes him an outstanding part of The Dentists Team. His caring chairside manner and attention to detail allow him to bring outstanding health and beauty to the smiles of each and every patient. Dr. Demman and his wife, Alyson, have four children, Carson, Addison, Lola and Cal. When he’s not attending one of his children’s activities or spending time with his family, you can find Dr. Demman cheering on the Huskers or on the golf course. He’s also a whiz at pop-culture trivia.

  Dr. Amy Ruf

  General & Cosmetic Dentist

  Dr. Amy Ruf was born and raised in Omaha and graduated from Skutt Catholic High School. She received her B.S. in meteorology and doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. The addition of Dr. Ruf is an exceptional provider at our Ralston Square location. Dr. Ruf provides a full range of dental services for both new patients and existing patients and enjoys spending the time to thoroughly explain procedures and answer questions. Her enthusiasm and dedication to exceptional dentistry certainly show in the smiles of her patients. Dr. Ruf’s outstanding education, clinical experience and pleasant chairside manner will make even the most fearful dental patient feel at ease. Dr. Ruf is an avid Husker fan, attending nearly every home game and road-tripping to away games if her schedule allows. Never one to sit still, she stays active with her husband Al, running and competing in races. Dr. Ruf and Al also enjoy traveling whenever she gets time away from the office.

  Dr. Chad Snow

  General & Cosmetic Dentist

  Dr. Chad Snow is an Omaha native and is proud to be part of such a wonderful community. A Millard North graduate, he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Snow completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency outside of Boise through Idaho State University. It was there that Dr. snow worked alongside several general dentists and specialists, gaining further experience in all aspects of dentistry. Among other skills, he became proficient in implant dentistry, oral surgery and esthetic (cosmetic) dentistry. Providing his patients with the highest quality of treatment is a priority for Dr. Snow. He frequently attends Continuing Education courses to stay abreast on the latest research materials and techniques. Dr. Snow is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association and the Omaha District Dental Society. He also volunteers in community dental events whenever possible. Dr. Snow is married to his wonderful wife, Sarah, who is a dental hygienist. They have two daughters, Lydia (2012) and Hannah (2014). When he is not busy entertaining the girls, Dr. Snow enjoys watching sports (especially Husker football), playing the guitar for his daughters and attending various plays and concerts.
