Dr. Alex Tharman
Dr. Alex Tharman grew up in Long Island, KS. He began wearing glasses at about 1-and-a-half years old and had two eye surgeries to correct his lazy eye . He enjoys managing dry eye, co-managing surgeries, fitting specialty contacts such as scleral lenses, and helping his younger patients manage their myopia. When he's not in the office you can find him spending time with his high school sweetheart wife, their two wonderful children, and their pets.
Education: Dr. Alex Tharman earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas in 2016 before relocating to Bloomington, Indiana, to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021.
