I fell in love with Pilates during my first class. The changes that I felt in my body within the first few weeks was nothing I had ever experienced. What I love most about Pilates is that I leave class feeling like I have worked every muscle in my body while also feeling very centered, empowered and "zen". With a background in health care and education, I have always had a passion for helping others. At our studio we welcome everyBODY! While I love helping others transform their bodies to become more fit and feel better, my ultimate passion is helping people that have body limitations (previous injuries/surgeries and neurological disorders) overcome their challenges. Having struggled with a chronic neurological disorder myself I have experienced the healing powers of Pilates and I want to help others LIVE and FEEL better! I feel grateful each and every day that I get to share this journey with our members whom I adore and love getting to know. When I am not at the studio I love spending time with my husband, Jay, and our 3 kiddos Tyler (21), Noah (17) and Anna (16). We love camping, motorcycling, traveling, kayaking and visiting family in Colorado where I grew up.

The opportunity to help individuals feel and look better is such a joy! I have worked in the fitness industry for over 11 years and though I enjoy all forms of fitness and have completed certification and training in the areas of Personal Training, Group Exercise – cycling, TRX, PiYo, various formats of bootcamp, interval/circuit training, along with being a Fitness Nutrition Coach, my true passion is Pilates. I enjoy the variety and levels that are practiced in Pilates. I’m lucky to have a career that allows me to live my dream daily! Nothing is more fulfilling than seeing individuals become stronger and more confident in what they can achieve in the area fitness and life. My motto is Commitment and Consistency are the key to success. My promise to you is that I will always give you my best and I look forward to being your biggest cheerleader! I have been married to my best friend for over 28 years and we have two wonderful daughters ages 26 & 22. They have grown into independent strong women and I am so proud of them. They often tell me that I don’t know how to relax because I am always working on some sort of project. I enjoy riding my bike, walking our dogs, planting flowers, exercising with my girlfriends, and learning new things.

I have always enjoyed fitness but I absolutely fell in love with Pilates when I took my first class. I knew there was something different about this form of exercise. It was truly challenging! I learned that I could feel muscles I never knew I had! I loved how I began to carry myself. My alignment and overall posture started to connect and I felt stronger on a deeper level – especially around my core. I knew quickly that I wanted to share this Pilates experience with others. I began sharing Pilates as a Mat instructor. I went through Certification through Physical Mind Institute. For five years I instructed at various Health Clubs and Personal Best Pilates Studio in Kansas City. After, I juggled through my daughters infant stages I committed and completed the 450 hour Comprehensive Pilates Equipment Certification with Personal Best Pilates Instructor Academy in Kansas City. I can proudly say I’ve been teaching Pilates for 17 years now!   I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. This degree focused on improving the lives of people experiencing a variety of disabilities. I’ve found the uniqueness of Pilates can successfully serve several neurological populations including Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinsons. It’s a true passion of mine to work with these students. Pilates is a great form of exercise for balance and lengthening tight muscles which many in this population struggle with. I love the work I do with Pilates but also enjoy many other things in my life! I have my wonderful husband Dana, 2 beautiful daughters, Anna and Maggie and two awesome Golden Retrievers Bentley and Stella! When I’m not teaching you’ll find me with my family or cycling around Omaha (another passion of mine!)

I have always been passionate about fitness and staying active. I was an athlete for 16 years and found myself looking for something new to add variety and new motivation into my workout routine. I have always had a passion for helping others and I fell in love with both the testimonials of individuals that use Pilates as their main source of exercise, and the community that Club Pilates provides and fosters. I am anxious and excited to “dive into” the lifestyle of Pilates and to begin experiencing change in my mind and body as a whole. Prior to Club Pilates I worked in the field of child welfare and substance abuse/mental health treatment for three years. Quite a change, right?! Although a piece of my heart will always stay within that field, I am thankful for an opportunity that allows me to spend more time pursuing other passions, including being a new mama. When I am not at the studio I love spending time with my husband, Dylan, our son, Paxton (3 months) and our fur baby, Willow. I enjoy camping, reading, experiencing new things, and working my home based business with Arbonne.

I have always been a runner. Weight lifting and running was my go-to for exercise, until I hurt my knee. I was on a quest to find a new method of exercise to get into shape and fell in love with Pilates. Pilates has helped me get into shape by working all my muscles head to toe--even the ones I forgot I had. One of my favorite things about Pilates is that my knee doesn't give me any trouble during or after class. I have seen so many changes in my own body, and if I see and feel changes, I know others can as well. I love talking about Pilates and how much it's impacted my life in such a positive way. I'm excited to be at Club Pilates West Omaha to serve my community. When I'm not at the studio I enjoy painting, calligraphy, and traveling.

Pilates has the ability to change lives and as a fitness fanatic that is what drew me to pilates initially. As an indoor cycling instructor and marathon runner, cardio has always been my passion. But when the opportunity to further my career with a comprehensive pilates certification presented itself, I had to say yes. While practicing the 500 hours to earn my certification I learned so much about my body, my practice and my health. Having suffered so many aches and pains while running, pilates gave me the ability to find strength, healing and recovery. I am a huge believer that fitness is more than a workout. The 50 minutes you spend in class is YOUR TIME. The time when you can unplug, feel your body working and re-set. It is my goal to deliver all of my clients with a feeling of strength and power, but you help them find peace and relief in class. You should always walk out of class feeling better and lighter mentally then when you started!

I grew up as a dancer for 13 years and was drawn to Pilates for the graceful, fluid movements that reminded me of my dancing days. I quickly learned that Pilates was so much more than just a “pretty” workout as I gained more strength and body awareness than I had ever known before! I have a full-time career as a Chiropractor and own a practice with my husband where I focus exclusively on women’s health and spinal care. Because of my Chiropractic background, I love that Club Pilates classes emphasize proper body alignment, breathing, flexibility, and movements that are safe for all levels of fitness and health. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree at American University in Washington, D.C. where I studied foreign language (Spanish, French and Russian) and then spent 8 months living in Argentina before beginning chiropractic school. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa - which is also where I met my husband. When I’m not with patients or teaching classes you can find me taking a class or out on the town with my husband - we are suckers for a good happy hour!

I absolutely love fitness and thrive on constant self improvement! I have always enjoyed doing cardio and using weights, but when I took my first Pilates class I was instantly hooked and began to supplement my normal fitness routine with a variety of classes. The change that I saw in my body, balance and posture helped me make the decision to take the Instructor Training Program so I can share my love of Pilates! I truly feel that Pilates is for everyone and it can help change lives by improving our bodies and minds. I am married to an amazing, supportive husband Jason and together we have three girls Caleigh, Nora and Larson. They are my driving force every day and my motivation to be the best version of myself. I look forward to helping others reach their goals and be their best self!

  • Rachel (Instructor)

I have a dance background and was introduced to Pilates through the dance program at Loyola Marymount University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015. Pilates became a necessary part of my daily routine while in undergrad, and aided in injury prevention and whole-body strengthening while sustaining long hours of dancing and classes each day. I noticed a significant increase in energy and generalized improvement in my every day life and became an instructor to share my love for Pilates and the wonders it has done for me and others. I received my Pilates Certification through Polestar Pilates shortly after graduating, and have taught at multiple studios in Los Angeles. My love for Pilates and my background in biology inspired me to become a physical therapist, so I am now enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Creighton University. I incorporate my passions for health, fitness, and dancing into every class, creating a fun, healthful, and mindful experience.
